Qualified to work safely on site

When you choose Portastor you can be sure of the highest levels of safety and exceptional working standards on your site. We provide the highest quality at every stage of your project, from planning and programming to health and safety (NEBOSH) and specialist sub-contract management. Specific, well-qualified individuals are appointed for lifting operations and our installation teams comprise highly trained personnel. A dedicated foreman is allocated to every installation to ensure specific programme duties and the strictest safety standards are met.

Safety in hazardous environments

Where our buildings are to be located in potentially dangerous environments, we carry out a full safety survey and create a detailed safety plan for the installation. Portastor has vast experience of working in the Oil and Gas sector, on Power Plants and trackside in the Rail industry, so we understand and can comply with strict regulations for working in these environments.

Industry-specific accreditations

When working in specific environments, we comply with industry-dictated standards of safety on site. On the railways, for example, we have Link Up Core Module approval from Network Rail and all engineers working trackside have Personal Track Safety (PTS) cards. All relevant engineers have also been through rigorous training with London Underground Limited to obtain its Safety Passport to work on site. Our engineers hold similar approvals and certifications from leading organisations in the Oil and Gas, Utility Power and Communications industries.
